More Info about the Artists Available!
We have added more info about the creative teams, directors, choreographers or performers to each of the productions of the busy festival program. You can therefore read more about them here on the website in both Czech and English and look forward to their newest works which they are bringing to Olomouc in less than 2 weeks!
The Best of Hungary!
Other artists coming to the festival have recently been awarded! And we are happy to say that we are bringing truly the best of the Visegrad region to Olomouc because the Hungarian artists Rita Góbi and Adrienn Hód were awarded the prestigious Rudolf Laban award couple of days ago. You will have the chance to see the awarded choreography of Solos twice in the Dům u parku premises, the enthralling solo of Rita Góbi will be featured also twice in the Divadlo K3 at Art Centre of Palacký University (Konvikt). Tickets are still available!
The Festival Spot is Out!
The protagonist of the festival spot is the Czech Actor of 2017 and “face” of the Flora Theatre Festival this year – Miloslav König. The outsider with a weird prop (holding the ever growing dimension of his thoughts “together”) utters mutely part of the monologue from the Production of the Year The Thief's Journal directed by Jan Nebeský at the Masopust theatre company.
Against the Wall / Proti múru!
The long awaited premiere of Antigone has just took place at the Slovak National Theatre. The direction of Sophocles' tragedy was in hands of director Ondrej Spišák, whose work is quite familiar to the festival audience.
