Divadlo Aldente was established in 2008 in Brno, thanks to actress Jitka Vrbková, originally as an independent ensemble of students of art academies. It started to focus on work with disabled actors and actresses in 2014. Their authorial productions Maminko, jsi důležitá jako šraňky v tunelu!, Who’s Afraid of DS?, Who I Am? are rooted in the original way of movement and performance of people with Down Syndrome, and are using their own texts.
