The last Flora Theatre Festival was crowned by the performance of Nico Holonics in a monodrama by the artistic director of Berliner Ensemble Oliver Reese THE TIN DRUM, this year, his colleague from the famous berlin theatre scene Bettina Hoppe takes over. You can see the production THE WOMAN WHO WALKED INTO DOORS in Reese’s direction already on Monday 18 October at 6 pm at the Moravské divadlo Olomouc.

The actors of Residenztheater Munich as unbelievably funny Musketeers won the hearts of the audience and created an extraordinary atmosphere in the Moravské divadlo theatre hall. The visuals of the 24 Flora was created by the graphic designer Radim Měsíc in cooperation with the photographer Ondřej Hruška. The protagonist of the video spot by Michal Švarc and Alexander Maschke (music/sound) is the robot alter ego of the German writer Thomas Melle – co-author of the festival production Uncanny Valley, created in coproduction of Rimini Protokoll and Münchner Kammerspiele

Dozens of theatre productions, a number of talks, screenings, concerts and workshops will soon be offered by the unconventional autumn Flora. The productions of top Central European theatre artists, filmmakers and musicians (with a traditional emphasis on the German-speaking area) will include „political productions“ by the Komedie Theatre Prague and the work of directors Miroslav Bambušek and Michal Hába.Tickets for the first half of the nine-week show, the dramaturgy of which is defined by the motto „Beautiful New World“, will be available for purchase or reservation from 27 September.
