NEWS
The numbers of infected people and patients admitted to hospitals keep on dramatically growing, the government measures are getting stricter and restrictions are growing broader. It was to be expected. We have been preparing the autumn Flora from the end of March, but over the next three weeks we sense a lockdown is more likely than an easing of the measures. We are still busy, however, with the organization of the festival and keeping in touch with potential festival guests and audiences.
Ticket sales for the programme of the 24 Flora Theatre Festival have currently been postponed to Monday 2 November 2020.

NEWS
The astronomical autumn starts today, and it is apparent that it will be different from what we were used to. Already in March earlier this year, we decided to move the spring Flora Theatre Festival to November. Thanks to the flexibility of our colleagues – theatre makers, partners, and the festival team – we are presenting you with its full programme exactly seven weeks before the planned beginning of the festival.

show more2020 Flora moves to November
We firmly believe we will be able to welcome talented Czech and Slovak theatre and dance performers and German musicians in Olomouc during the week from 10 to 16 November 2020. The week-long programme, with an unconventional trip to our friends at HaDivadlo, Brno, will be framed by the festival motto “Beautiful New World”. The festival programme will be gradually revealed over the summer months and ticket sales should be launched in early autumn. Hopefully by that time most of the cultural programme will be back to normal – go to theatres and support them!

Dear friends, colleagues and partners,
In light of the current situation, it seems inappropriate to announce the festival programme, start advertising and selling advance tickets and engage you in tasks which are no longer a priority due to the circumstances.
We have therefore decided to move the May edition of the festival to another date and are working on making it possible for us to meet at Flora in November 2020.
Let’s be open-minded, compassionate, sensitive and patient.Thank you. -
